We at the SEA-STITCH project know that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This notice describes our privacy policy.

Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter o­n our Web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for you, improving our stores, and communicating with you.

Credit Card Information: We never store your whole credit card number in any form on our web servers or in our order database.  Card numbers and other sensitive information is split apart and forwarded by other means, and they are used one time o­nly for verification o­n Propay's Credit Card Processing unit under the account name "June E Bartz".  The numbers are never stored anywhere for any length of time in complete form.  As soon as payment for your order is verified, all parts of your credit card info are deleted from all locations.

Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use "cookies," and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses seamist.org. A number of companies offer utilities designed to help you visit Web sites anonymously. Although we will not be able to provide you with a personalized experience at seamist.org if we cannot recognize you, we want you to be aware that these tools exist.  Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide personalized features.

Customer Information:  Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We NEVER share customer information with any third party, we never give anyone your email address, we never publish email addresses or any customer information in any way it can be "harvested" from our website.

Information Security:  We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.  We reveal o­nly the last four or five digits of your credit card numbers when notifying or confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
